I feel like I haven't done anything creative and interesting in forever, so when Cassandra Nuss wanted to do one last shoot before she went to Florida I jumped on the prospect. I spent weeks planning out a 'Twisted Snow White' and Cassandra really delivered as far as putting together a wardrobe and makeup and posing.
Unfortunately, as a photographer, I feel like I never live up to what's in my head. I can see this perfect image and I can just never quite get things right. Whether it's directing the model or my angle or post processing. I've certainly improved lately, though, so at least that's something.
I'd really appreciate any feedback from you guys, especially critique. I want to grow so much as a photographer and I just don't know how.
So give me all your poison,
and give me all your pills,
and give me all your hopeless thoughs
that make me ill
if that makes sense.
I love the make up (amazing colors!) and the model's expression.
Also, I think the rotation works quite well and makes the photograph even better, just like the contrast.
You're running after something that you'll never kill.
If this is what you want, then fire at will.
(:
The eyes are amazing.
the makeup reminds me of the black swan
